We are located on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen speaking people also known as Esquimalt and Songhees. We acknowledge and respect the land that we are grateful to live, work and play. By honouring the survivors and the lives that were lost in residential schools, by acknowledging and understanding the Truth of the past, we can take steps to move forward towards reconciliation.

The Bayanihan Community Centre and Victoria Filipino Canadian Association with collaboration with Turkish Community is holding a Food Take Out on Saturday, February 18th, 2023. The fundraising is for earthquake Relief for Turkiye and Syria. The devastation was massive, many people lost their belongings, homes, family and friends. We have opportunity to have access  to many resources here in Canada and grateful we live in this country with abundance of caring people. Let our communities come together and help each other and support the fundraising. The proceeds will be donated to Red Cross and will be matched by Government of Canada..
