We are located on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen speaking people also known as Esquimalt and Songhees. We acknowledge and respect the land that we are grateful to live, work and play. By honouring the survivors and the lives that were lost in residential schools, by acknowledging and understanding the Truth of the past, we can take steps to move forward towards reconciliation.

2021 VFCA VIRTUAL MABUHAY FESTIVAL

June is Filipino Heritage Month in Canada, and the Victoria Filipino Canadian Association invite you to join in the celebration with their annual Mabuhay Filipino Arts and Culture Festival. The event normally takes place in Centennial Square, but due to the pandemic, the festivities will be online this year.

This year's Mabuhay Festival showcases Filipino dances, songs, spoken word poetry, interviews with local Filipino visual artists and members of the Victoria Filipino community. There will also be popular Filipino food take-out on Sunday, June 13th and Saturday June 19.

Just like in previous VFCA Mabuhay Festivals, guest performers from other cultures are joining the celebration, creating a multi-cultural vibe.

Video links will be available starting June 12, 2021. Please tune in and share the event with your friends and family.

Salamat!
